Janice Thompson never fails to deliver when it comes to fun, humor and sweet romance. That is very much the case in the latest Year of Weddings novella. I loved the characters in this book, from sweet Mari to handsome Derrick and everyone in between. I feel like I absolutely gushed over this series last year and I'm doing it again this year, but I just can't help it. I'm a sucker for a well written romance and Janice Thompson has never let me down.

Janice Thompson writes the sweetest love stories and Every Bride Needs a Groom is no exception. While the story itself was fairly predictable, I still enjoyed the characters and how every one of them had their own smaller story within the main story. Katie was sweet and honest to the bone, her family so incredibly small town that it was a bit like being back where I grew up, and those big city folks? Well, they're a whole bundle of fun all in themselves. The book moves at a quick pace, but not so quick that you feel as if you've been left behind. I especially appreciated the epilogue and how the book ended. I can't tell you why though. You're just going to have to read it yourself to find out.

Cassia Pappas has found herself in a nearly impossible situation. Hooked sums it up nicely. I was hooked on the other books in this series and this one wasn't any different. Poor Cassia! She really found herself in quite a pickle more than once. This is one of those great books where you'll laugh, you'll groan and you'll be thrilled to catch up with some of the characters that you met in other books. Every time Cassia's father came up with a new idea, I chuckled and wondered how I'd do in a family like theirs. It was full of love, but also had a uniqueness that no other family could compete with. If Janice Thompson ever wants to go back to Galveston, I'll be along for the ride.

Love, love, loved this book and wished I'd read the first ones in the series! Gabi is such a super sweet character that you can't help but fall in love with her and with her friends and family. You'll wish that you were part of this group of amazing ladies from the very beginning. Honestly, I can't say enough about Janice Thompson's fantastic skills at bringing characters to life. This book probably has one of every single type of person that you know...from the snob, to the insecure and everything in between.
