You did it! We now have 50 followers on the campaign. I'm so excited. It felt like a huge goal, but y'all knocked it out of the park a good two weeks before we go live. Now the ball is back in my court. Now the the cover is in, I'm blessed to have Eric Cockrell working on the final graphics for the campaign. He says that I have to record my own audio for the video though. This is my first time creating a Kickstarter video so I'm pretty nervous! 

Oh my gosh, guys! I've been so busy that I haven't kept up with the site at all! I promise that I'm going to do my best to get the recipes flowing again and maybe even the occasional book review. For now though, I want to tell you all about my brand new book and what's in the works for it. Isn't it marvelous? You may even recognize some of those characters. There's Horace, Charlie and two of the cheetah triplets. There's also Harley (the bunny) and Jack (the sock monkey) who will be introduced in the new book.

Wow, it has been far, far too long since I posted anything here. I won't lie. It wasn't intentional. I had planned on keeping everyone in the loop as to what was happening with the various projects that I've been working on, but the truth is that Covid depression swallowed me up. With kids in college and friends scattered all over the world, my anxiety got the best of me at the beginning. Then, with panic buying, lockdowns, masks, and everything else that has become our new normal, I found myself becoming more and more depressed. I discovered that I wasn't as ready for any of this emotionally as I thought. I'm someone who spends most of their time home and alone, but suddenly being told that it had to be that way felt itchy...like being trapped.
